Fault: Constant Velocity Carburetor is acting up. The air butterfly is controlled by the throttle cable and works fine, but the air slide and main jet needle do not rise/lift as it should. This action is controlled by vacuum, but the friction/stiction of the slide fights the vacuum lift and the slide stays stuck in middle position. Tomorrow it will work fine, how ever, only to act up at a later time

Solution is to take the carb. off of the engine and work this slide by hand or scrub it until all of the corrosion is gone.
